Rooibus. With loads of antioxidants, this is a terrific choice for expectant mamas. Just be sure it’s not a blend because some variations include herbs like rosemary, which aren’t recommended.
Ginger. Ginger has long been known to ease morning sickness. Look for real, fresh ginger tea (not dried), without added herbs.
Citrus. These calming varieties can help combat insomnia and irritability.
Chamomile. In small amounts, chamomile, like ginger, can be good for nausea, but limit yourself to one cup a day—any more has potential for harmful effects.
