Summer Infant 3D Lite Convenience Stroller

As a first-time mom, I wasn’t quite sure where to begin when it came to choosing a stroller, and as a result, I have ended up with multiple. After reviewing the Summer Infant 3D Lite Convenience Stroller, however, I can honestly say that it is absolutely my go-to choice! It is incredibly well-built, easy to use and durable; plus, it comes at a great price point.
When I opened the box and took all of the pieces out, I was very pleasantly surprised that everything was incredibly logical and very simple to put together. There weren’t even any tools required! (I initially thought I wouldn’t be able to assemble the stroller without directions because I assumed it would be too complicated for me to feel comfortable putting my child in it without following the manual precisely.) I read through the directions after assembling the stroller, just to ensure I didn’t miss anything, and the directions were very clear. There are pictures for each step of assembly and for the various areas of adjusting the stroller during use.
The aspects that I appreciate most about this stroller are its light weight and small footprint. When the stroller is open for use, it does not take up a lot of space, which makes it incredibly wonderful to navigate in stores or when around a lot of people. In addition, when the stroller is folded up, it locks into place and is quite thin. It easily can slide into car trunks, backseats, etc. And, you can even use the strap to carry it on your shoulder. The weight of the stroller is very light. There is not any struggle to lift it or transport it.
Overall, the look of the stroller is very sleek and more of a minimalist approach to a stroller. In a time where strollers seem to be incredibly elaborate with all of the bells and whistles, I very much appreciate the simplicity of this stroller’s design. It is available in a wide variety of colors. I have the green, which makes for a nice accent to the strollers look and feel.
When it comes to the use of the stroller, my daughter seems quite comfortable while in the seat. The seat easily adjusts in a few different positions for reclining and lying down, which is incredibly convenient for taking naps on the go. I enjoy that you can adjust the back easily without interrupting the child much at all. The straps all easily adjust as my daughter continues to grow, and I think that I will be able to use this item for quite some time. The manufacturer says that the stroller limit is 50 pounds, so you really can plan to use it as your child grows.
The stroller pieces and fabric all are incredibly durable. They seem to do well with various terrains, clean up well as they get dirty, and there is a decent size cargo basket, which can easily fit a diaper bag. The part that I enjoy the most is the swivel capabilities of the wheels and their excellent quality. You truly don’t need two hands to guide the stroller—steering can be done easily with one hand. All of the little extras also work smoothly and add great value to the stroller. Aspects such as the wheel lock, rain canopy, etc., work very efficiently and effectively.
This stroller does not have the ability to connect with any car seats, add other seats or include other passengers. It is meant to be a single-child, on-the-go item for easy use—and it fits that description quite well!
Overall, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this stroller, and the fact that it is at such a low price point makes it an amazing purchase.
