We tell you how to spice things up in the bedroom.
Spontaneous sex is a lot of fun, but when you’re already pressed for time, it’s easy to fall into the trap of “waiting for the right moment”—and that moment never arriving. Instead of waiting around for romance to happen on its own, plan a tryst with your guy and get excited about it well in advance. As he leaves for work, whisper something naughty in his ear about the evening ahead, or send a sexy text message or email in anticipation of your rendezvous. By the time your guy gets home from the office, you’ll both be raring to go!
Take your time.
As a new mom, you’re forever busy and sleep-deprived, and just trying to squeeze in a little quality time with your guy seems impossible—but try not to rush through things the next time you get intimate. It’s easy to let foreplay slide when spare time is scarce, and also when you’ve been with the same partner for a long period of time. But unlike men, women require a little more time and effort to get our engines revved before intercourse, so make your love life reminiscent of your college days by taking pleasure in the “bases.”
Abandon your routine.
Don’t look at sex as something that always has to happen in your bed and in the evening. Chances are that you’re usually too tired to make love when you get into bed at night, so try being a little more daring—get busy on the couch while the kids are at play dates, or check into a hotel room while grandma takes care of the baby.
