I’m a big fan of designer Orla Kiely’s bold prints and bright patterns, and I’ve got to tell you that the Reese Li’s Lexington Baby Bag in Green Tea Bloom very much reminds me of her style. In fact, upon laying eyes on it I got that same feeling I often get when I see Orla’s bags: I lust. I want. I must have.
ReeseLiLexingtonBabyBagThankfully, the function of the bag lives up to its fabulous form. The straps quickly and easily convert from slinging over your shoulder to sliding over your stroller, which is super convenient—I love that there are no “extra” straps to keep track of and use for various things, but instead the single set of straps can be clipped differently to suit your needs. There’s plenty of space inside to contain all the must-haves for a day about town, and a good number of pockets to help keep things organized.
The tote has a magnetic flap and does not zip closed, so it’s the best option for traveling with on an airplane and stowing in the overhead bin (unless you want pacifiers and bottles and burp cloths falling out at you when you open the compartment when deplaning). But as long as you’re planning to keep it upright, the bag allows for quick access to all your goods.
Oh, and if you’re worried about your pretty diaper bag getting dirty, don’t. It’s coated with a smart matte laminate that makes it readily wipeable (but not the least bit shiny or plastic-y).
