We were looking to replace our cracked bathtub and were happy to have the opportunity to use the PRIMO EuroBath. The bathtub is well built, large, spacious and sturdy enough for transporting. Due to its build quality, it is extremely durable, and I think it will last for years to come. Because our previous infant tub cracked and was no longer usable, we wanted to make sure our next one was durable. We found ourselves worrying about dropping or breaking our new one, but we didn’t need to; it has held up quite well.
Screen Shot 2014-09-25 at 12.42.21 PMAccording to PRIMO, the EuroBath is the largest baby bath available. It measures 36 inches by 21 inches by 9 inches. Its size allows it to work for infants from 0 to 24 months without any attachments. You use the reclining side for newborns 0-6 months and the sitting side for toddlers 6-24 months. Because of its large size, it may not be a top choice for parents living in smaller homes as it occupies a lot of space. But luckily for us, we recently moved to a larger home, and we have found ourselves putting the tub to use more often than we did before the move.
There are a number of features that make this tub a great product for growing families. We’ve found that the EuroBath fits well in our existing bathtub. My son really enjoys bathing in the tub. It holds a good amount of water to keep him warm, and it drains really fast, which saves a lot of time. The design is simple but very well thought out; it’s nice for babies to use and for parents to look at. All the curves inside are ergonomically designed to support your newborn, and there are no sharp edges or corners to worry about.
The tub is entirely plastic (but BPA free), so it can get slippery inside. The contoured stoppers are there to help keep babies from slipping, but I think it would have been great to have some kind of removable anti-slip mat at the bottom, especially when your child is trying to stand. On the other hand, the solid plastic design makes the tub incredibly easy to clean. You can just wipe it down, and all the curves are easily accessible for thorough cleaning.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the EuroBath to anyone looking for a baby tub. Overall it is a good value, and its best features—the design and durability—speak to the quality of the product.
