I got my first Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag approximately six years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love their style and function as much as I love their name, so I was super psyched when I got a press release announcing their new organic collection—my favorite diaper bag brand had somehow managed to get even better!
PPB_0I tried out the Wistful Weekender (in the pretty print shown here), and I loved everything about it. The size is great for a weekend (or perhaps hospital?) trip, a long day out with baby, or a mom with more than one munchkin to pack for. It’s extremely lightweight, which is always a big factor for me … it’s going to be heavy enough loaded down with all my junk, so I don’t want a bag that adds a lot weight to my load before anything is in it! The pockets are well placed and nicely sized, and there are cool side snaps that expand the interior space. (Need more room inside? Unsnap the sides! Taken out a few things and want the bag to be a little more compact? Snap them back!)
This bag comes with a wipes case and changing pad, and it can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. There is another style in PPB’s organic collection that I like also—the Sashay Satchel—and a couple more prints to choose from. You can find it all online, as well as several other diaper bag options, bedding, carriers and more.
