Magnificent Baby Layette

It’s true! Magnificent Baby’s layette is attractive. Literally.

Instead of boasting bajillions of pain-in-the-you-know-what snaps, these bodysuits, rompers and gowns have tiny magnets sewn inside them to make dressing a snap—er, magnet.

I think the concept is genius and loved how easy middle-of-the-night changes were when there were no impossible-to-line-up-in-the-dark snaps involved. To be honest, I loved how easy the magnets made any dressing circumstance—day or night—because, let’s face it, it’s rarely easy to clothe a squirming babe. Magnificent Baby makes life simple, just as their hilarious instructions proclaim.

You might wonder about the safety of magnets or be concerned about potential choking hazards. So was I! (What mom wouldn’t be?) Magnificent Baby has a whole page on their website dedicated to answering worried mom FAQs, and their answers really alleviated my concerns. They have passed all sorts of third-party safety tests and been certified A-OK for our kiddos. (I know, it seems like such an ingenious product must be too good to be true, but it’s not. Hooray!)

The clothing cleans up nicely and the magnets have maintained their strength through countless washes. (And no, the magnets haven’t stuck to the inside of my washer or dryer.)

Aside from the convenience factor, I am head-over-heels for the newest prints Magnificent Baby has added to their collection. In boys, girls and unisex color schemes, they’re bold and modern (much less traditional than their first line and much more my style).

I might pick up a few more sleepers for my bambino, and you can bet some preggo friends of mine will be unwrapping them at their baby showers. Well done, MB—you’ve got yourself a loyal fan!
