For many women, the tell-tale sign of pregnancy is found within their bras. Here’s a look at some of the changes your chest will undergo during your nine months of baby-baking.

For some women, larger breasts can be exciting. But no matter how you feel, investing in a good bra can provide support and ease tenderness. At bedtime, try sleeping in a comfortable sports bra made of cotton.
Darkening
The darkening of your nipples and areolas (the skin around your nipples) is common due to the hormones that affect pigmentation. The veins along your breast may also darken due to increased blood supply.
Leaking
The thick yellowish substance that may begin leaking from your breasts as early as the second trimester is known as colostrum. This premilk will start off yellow at first, then turn pale and almost colorless as baby’s birthday draws near. (Discharge—or lack thereof—is no cause for concern. Every woman is different, and there is no correlation between experiencing discharge and being able to provide milk for your baby.)
