guzzie + Guss 203 Reclining Highchair
So many people have told me “a highchair is a […]

The highchair itself is wonderful. My toddler is very comfortable in the spacious seat and is securely strapped in with the five-point harness. Although we don’t use the reclining seatback feature as our daughter is 1 year old and self-feeds, it would be a plus for smaller children who are still being spoon-fed. The fabric is very easy to clean with just a damp cloth and soap when needed. I love that the large tray has a high lip all the way around which helps to keep the food from falling into my toddler’s lap before she gets a good grasp on it.

This highchair has been a great asset for our family, but there is one thing I have seen featured on other highchairs that I wish this one had. In order to slide the tray completely off, you have to use both hands to squeeze a lever on either side of the tray. This is difficult to do when holding my daughter. I’ve seen other chairs with a lever in the front that requires only one hand to slide the tray. However, if I position the tray on the outer most locked position, I am able to put my daughter in the seat and then slide the tray toward her for the proper fit. This is an easy way to avoid taking the tray off with both hands. The highchair comes in three colors (red, chocolate and gray), which is a little limiting, but the chocolate goes very well with our décor. All in all, we are very happy with the guzzie+Guss 203 Reclining Highchair. This is the first experience we’ve had with the brand, but we look forward to trying out the rest of their line now as well.
