Instructions:
The manual for this product is useful, although it required careful study. I hold two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree, and it took a couple of read-throughs and extra squinting to understand everything completely. For the most part, though, the language in the manual is helpful. There are certain words that sometimes need clarifying. For instance, what the manual calls “loop tape,” I simply call “velcro strips.” Overall, however, the illustrations are clear.

Assembly:

It took about 20 minutes to put together from opening the box to final completion. The process didn’t require any tools, but it was helpful to have two adults. Due to the large size, the product can be a bit bulky. Once assembled, the Pack ‘n Play takes up about 15 square feet of space, but it breaks down into a handy travel bag. It will fit easily in the trunk of a car or in the corner of a closet when packed. The product is sturdy and made of good quality. There are no stray strings or frayed edges to suggest shoddy workmanship. The bassinet has to be taken off to fold, and is a little awkward to get into the travel case. You can do it with one adult, but it would definitely help to have two.

Requirements:

The bassinet can be used for children up to 30 pounds or twins up to 15 pounds each.
Use:
Our infant twins (born 3 weeks premature) seemed uncomfortable in the big space of the twin bassinet but larger twins may feel a bit more comfy in the beginning days.
Style:
This bed comes in a brown nylon color with white mesh. The neutral colors will go with anything and work for either boys or girls and the material can be wiped down easily. The bassinet is covered by a divider that lays over the mattress pad.
The best part about this travel bed is the ability to go from a play yard that can be used for children up to 30 pounds or 35 inches, to something that is small enough to fit in a trunk or closet.
