Reading is definitely my number one favorite pastime—very few things make me happier than curling up on the couch with a good book.
Every room in my house has an overloaded bookshelf (with the exception of the bathrooms, of course), and I find myself cruising the aisles of Barnes & Noble at least once a week, looking for more reading material for my family. I’ll admit that I’m a little out of control, but I figure as far as habits go, book addiction is pretty harmless.
Want free stuff?
(Not a trick question!) We’re sharing the love with top-brand giveaways and prizes, exclusive product offers, and over $500 in mom-approved free gifts! Find gear, sample boxes, online courses and much more up for grabs.
However, bringing all those books home does have its downside… storage. Our bookshelves are already beyond capacity, so I’m always on the lookout for other book storage options. Thank you, Modern Nursery, for introducing me to the stylish and eco-friendly Bonsai Book Caddy from InModern’s Ecotots, which has helped solve our book overload problem and become my family’s new favorite shelf.
The Bonsai Book Caddy is made from FSC certified real wood and is the perfect size for holding an assortment of our favorite bedtime stories. We keep it right by my son’s bed and swap the books out weekly from his regular bookshelf so we always have a different variety of reading material. You could definitely use the book caddy in other rooms of the house—it’s nice enough to go in the living room or pretty much anywhere you need it—and I also think it would be perfect in a nursery school or playroom for toddlers, since it’s low and accessible from both sides.
