Size matters. The Joolz Hub is slim in its frame yet comfortable, and it’s fully equipped with all premium features found in the full-size model. You can navigate narrow and crowded spaces (like the local grocery store on a Saturday morning crowded) with ease. Its stand-alone fold collapses nicely with no need to remove the seat, giving you the freedom to drive it in your vehicle’s trunk, carry it on the bus or train and store it in small spaces once at home.

Positive design. The urban influence is evident from the very beginning. The stroller lifts out of the box ready to go. It can be steered using one hand, and the handlebar is sleek and slim. The seat can be positioned in either parent or rear-facing mode, and both options function the same in terms of expanding or folding. The back wheels offer great support for a smaller base, and the front wheel can swivel or lock depending on your terrain. (We’ve heard it’s best to keep it locked when over gravel or cobblestone.) It drives like a dream and feels smooth and secure.

Bells and whistles. We love a good canopy, and this hood cover does not disappoint in shielding your little one from the sun. It’s boasts UPF 50+ protection from harmful rays and extends close to the bumper bar. The hood fabric is also breathable, keeping baby cooler and content on warm days. It comes with a great storage basket that can house all you needs for a full day away with babe, plus a convenient shoulder strap for toting by hand.

The actual seat is plush and roomy with lots of padding. Thanks to three recline positions, it can lie flat, so it’s safe for newborn napping on the go. There is an adjustable footrest and handlebar as well as a swing-away bumper bar. (Kids love this—seriously!) And it goes without saying that the built-in diaper bag hooks on the handlebar are the best things ever!

What we most admire is the company’s commitment to green ethos and Mother Nature. The packaging is reusable, and for every pushchair sold, Joolz plants one tree in an endangered rainforest. The Hub specifically is produced in a sustainably renovated factory that practices smart energy solutions and is accompanied by many greenhouses. This product is eco-friendly and completely free of toxins in the fabric and frame—win!

Fine print. The Hub weighs 25 pounds and measures a mere 20 inches wide. It can be used from birth with the purchase of a carrycot (6 months with original base) up to 45 pounds. It comes in a blue, gray and black fashion and can be customized to suit your preferences. A host of add-on accessories (seat cocoon, adapters, parasol, diaper bags, footmuff, etc.) are available online for additional purchase.

We have enjoyed testing out this stroller and seeing up-close the quality and care put into making such a great piece of baby gear. We would recommend this product to anyone living in a busy city or has little room for storage. The Joolz Hub is easy on the eyes, easy on your commute and a great investment for years to come.
