Oh, the trials of teething. Those are some dark days, my friends. While some teeth seem to make a surprise appearance overnight, others are a long time coming—and a pretty miserable time coming for the poor little lad or lady whose gum is being attacked from the inside out.
In most aspects of my life, I'm a fan of the “less is more” philosophy. But when it comes to teething babies, all bets are off. I want to turn those tears into smiles, and a good teething tool can sometimes do just that. I say grab a wide assortment of these chewers, in a variety of styles (my kids always loved the ones you can chill in the fridge), and strategicially place them around the house so one is always within reach. (And don't leave home without at least a couple in your bag!) At this point in time, all you need to do to make your baby happy is ease her gum pain with a chew-safe toy. Trust me, that won't be the case when she's 14. Enjoy your superhero status now, and make that wee one feel better!
