Our Inaugural issue! Can you believe the wee one in that model’s belly is now in fourth grade? Back then our now editor in chief (a senior editor at the time), Lacey Major, was practically a baby herself. Yes, they’re really pregnant! All of our round-bellied cover models are actually expecting. An exception: The mom-to-be we booked for our maternity fashion feature in March 2007 went into labor(!) the night before the photo shoot, and we couldn’t get a pregnant stand-in on such short notice. So our flat-tummied backup wore a prosthetic bump—but that’ll be our little secret, OK?Tori Spelling posed for our cover while expecting her first baby in April 2007—she’s now a mom of four! Our first-ever Buyer’s Guide premiered in September 2010. It’s become a perennial fall favorite.Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings graced the cover of our May 2013 issue. She was five weeks pregnant with her third child when she and teammate Misty May-Treanor won their third consecutive gold in the 2012 Summer Olympics. (Walsh Jennings won a bronze medal at this year’s Olympics.)Our Registry Guide debuted in April 2014.
