    The extra warmth produced by the pint-sized convector in your tummy can turn you into a sweaty Betty—especially during the summer—so you’ll need to make a concerted effort to replenish those fluids you’re perspiring. To help you rehydrate, we’ve compiled a list of recipes jam-packed with healthy benefits. Tantalize your taste buds and up your liquid intake with these tasty creations.

    Caribbean cruiser
    1⁄2 cup papaya, peeled and
    chopped into 1-inch chunks
    1⁄2 cup mango, peeled and
    chopped into 1-inch chunks
    1 banana, chilled and sliced
    1⁄4 cup shredded coconut
    1⁄2 teaspoon coconut extract
    1⁄2 cup orange juice
    1⁄2 cup pineapple juice

    In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth. Sit back and relax as you imagine yourself on an island adventure.

    Berry blast
    1⁄3 cup blueberries
    1⁄3 cup raspberries
    1⁄3 cup strawberries
    1⁄3 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
    1 cup orange juice
    1 cup crushed ice

    In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth. Sip this berry delicious beverage for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

    Southern comfort
    2⁄3 cup blueberries or blackberries
    1 large peach, peeled, pitted and
    chopped into 1-inch chunks
    1 cup orange juice
    1⁄4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
    1 cup crushed ice
    1 mint sprig for garnish

    In a blender, combine ingredients and puree until smooth. Garnish with mint. Grab a glass and head to your porch. You’ll love this Deep South delight.

    Nutty buddy
    1 banana, chilled and sliced
    1⁄2 cup creamy peanut butter
    1⁄2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
    1⁄4 cup low-fat milk
    1⁄2 tablespoon honey
    1 cup crushed ice
    Optional: 1⁄4 cup chocolate chips

    In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth. Slurp this protein-packed concoction to fill your belly and satisfy your sweet tooth.

    Prickly pear
    1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
    into 1-inch chunks
    1⁄2 green apple, peeled, cored and
    chopped into 1-inch chunks
    1⁄2 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
    1⁄2 cup carrot juice
    1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
    1⁄4 cup low-fat plain yogurt
    1⁄2 tablespoon honey

    In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth. Fill your glass, add a fruit garnish, and enjoy this tangy creation.

    Mama-to-be chai tea latte
    1⁄2 cup low-fat milk
    1 cup pregnancy-safe tea
    1 banana, chilled and sliced
    1⁄3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
    1⁄2 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
    1⁄2 tablespoon honey
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 teaspoon nutmeg
    pinch of cardamom
    pinch of black pepper
    1 cup crushed ice

    In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth. Assume the lotus position and find your Zen with this balanced beverage.
