Many women become more nearsighted or farsighted than usual due to swelling that occurs in the lens of the eye while pregnant.
Additionally, the eye doctor will need to put drops in your eyes and may even give you a light sedative for the surgery—both of which are no-nos while expecting. In short, it is best to wait until after the baby is born to obtain 20/20 vision.
