I am a huge fan of umbrella strollers, but I can’t stand the fact that they tend to look cheap and break easily. I wanted to find a stroller that was lightweight and looked great. I didn’t have to search long before I found exactly what I was looking for in the Baby Cargo Stroller 200 Series.
Baby Cargo 1The 200 Series is easy to assemble and the owner’s manual is very helpful in the process. The manual comes with clear and concise illustrations and understandable language. While assembling the stroller, no tools were required and it took only about five minutes.
My first impression of the stroller was that it’s very sturdy and is easy to clean. The stroller’s frame can be wiped down using a damp cloth with mild soap. It will then need to be dried thoroughly with a soft cloth. The seat is washable; after washing, it will need to be dried before reinstalling. The 200 series stroller is light and compact and can easily fit into the trunk of most any vehicle. It can also be easily stored away in a home storage closet.
The stroller can be used with newborns through toddlers. It can actually hold up to 50 pounds, which is great and assures it will be useful for a good while. The harness is easy to use and understand, and the seat is quite comfortable. The seat is designed to recline to various positions, which can be achieved by pressing the clip down strip on the back of the seat.
The 200 Series quickly folds and unfolds for easy transition between storage and use. To unfold the stroller, just release the storage clip, open the stroller, and make sure to click the base lever to lock. To fold, ensure the hood is rolled back, empty the shopping bag, and then use the foot lift-up base lever to release the lock, step down to fold, and use the storage clip to secure.
The stroller’s canopy is large in size, and worked nicely to keep the sunshine from my baby’s face. The stroller also comes with a rain cover that comes in handy during rain showers. One of the other great things that’s included with the stroller is a cup holder for either mom’s water or baby’s bottle.
The stroller’s wheels are made from rubber, and the front wheels can be switch between swivel and locked mode. The rear wheels have easy-access foot brakes, which are useful when loading and unloading baby. The brake can be activated by simply stepping down and released by pushing up. This stroller is best suited for the mom who wants to go shopping in the mall or walk around the block; I would not recommend this for running or traveling on gravel surfaces.
I would definitely recommend this series to any family or friends. I think the price is reasonable and the three color choices are very chic.
