I was afforded the incredible opportunity to review the Inglesina Twin Swift double stroller, and, boy, was I excited! You see, I am the mom of two little ones: Aubrey, a rambunctious two and a half year old, and Asher, a chill little seven month old. This stroller has made my life a whole lot simpler, and I can’t say enough good things about it.

This stroller has two separate, totally adjustable seats. You can adjust the hoods, backrests and straps independently, so my little guy can lay back and snooze in the shade while Aubrey sits upright and checks out all the world has to offer. I imagine this would be great for twins, too, because they can ride side by side—nobody has to have the less desirable view from the back seat.
The Twin Swift has tons of room built in under the seats to pack snack and diaper bags, and also has zippable pockets on the sunshades for your keys and phone. The under-seat storage consists of two separate baskets, which is great for organization. I like to keep my bag on one side and loose items (blankets, toys, etc.) on the other.

One feature that makes this double stroller especially fantastic is that it’s super easy to set up and break down. It is lightweight and stores compactly, especially considering it’s a two-seater. It is also very comfortable for my kids; the seats are nicely padded and have four different recline options (a mid-recline is great for babies who are still a little bobbly but don’t need to lie flat). The brakes on this stroller are phenomenal and came in handy when trying to singlehandedly unload everything and everyone back in the car after a day trip to the museum.

For the sake of thoroughness (and because we like going to different places), I tested the stroller on numerous surfaces. It pushes smoothly on paved road, cut grass, gravel and unpaved dirt trails, although I would not recommend it for use on unpaved trails that boast loose dirt or roots or at the beach. It’s a great around-town stroller. I’ve heard other moms complain about the wideness of a side-by-side stroller, but I didn’t have any problems fitting through doors or aisles with the Twin Swift.

The only drawback I’ve found is that it was a little tricky to maneuver when my two-year-old insisted on walking; it left a weight differential between the empty seat and the 15-pound baby, and it wasn’t quite as easy to push as it is when both little ones are riding. All in all, this stroller is a pretty great model and I would highly recommend it to parents of multiple children. Each seat can be used from 3 months to 40 pounds.
