Graco Size4Me 65

One of the best things about the Graco Size4Me 65 is the fact that it can grow with your child. There is one rear-facing setup (4-40 lbs) and two forward facing setups (20-40 lbs and 20-65 lbs) that adjust depending on the size and length you need. We will be using this car seat for many years!

The owner’s manual makes installing the seat seem way more complicated than it actually is. The car that we installed the seat in, a Ford Escape, came equipped with the LATCH system, so installing the seat really did not take long at all. Also, the car seat itself has many helpful stickers on it regarding installation and positioning. For the rear-facing setup (which is what we are using now), it has the level indicator to give you confidence that it is in the right position in your car.
Our car seat is installed in the middle seat of the car, but the seats on either side of the car seat are still usable (i.e. the seat belt is accessible) even though it is a tight squeeze. The cup holder is nice since the car seat is in the middle, preventing use of the car’s center cup holders.
We have taken a 6 hour ride in this car seat and there were no apparent comfort issues for our girl. She didn’t come out sweaty or anything, so the fabric is probably made such that it is cooling, or moisture-wicking, in hot weather.
I like that no additional support is needed (towels or pool noodles for positioning or cushioning for her head) for my 8.5 pound baby. The design that we have (Pierce) is gender-neutral and not very frilly, so we could use this same product if we have a boy later on. Overall, this seems like a great product. Even though we haven’t tested the forward facing setup, but I know that it will stand the test of time.
