Transform your eyebrows into groomed perfection with expert advice from Umbreen Sheikh, founder of Wink Brow Bar in New York City.
Follow the rules
Have a brow specialist or your favorite gal at the cosmetics counter measure your natural brow, which will act as your guideline to maintaining the right shape.
Put the tweezers down. Once the shape has been defined, stick with it. If new hairs fall in the natural line, don’t pluck—they belong there!
Use a powder to make a shadow behind the hairs. Doing so creates the appearance of bold brows by building the color instead of drawing it on.
Hold it down
Finish off with a brow wax—it’s like a hairspray—to keep everything perfectly in place throughout the day.
