Pottery Barn Kids Harper Madras Diaper Tote

I love the preppy madras plaid covering this Pottery Barn Kids Harper Madras Diaper Tote.

What else do I love? The simplicity of its design. The bag boasts two exterior bottle pockets, one exterior slat pocket, a small interior zipper pocket and one large interior slat pocket. Now that I'm listing them, it sounds like a lot, but my actual point was to indicate that there aren't so, so, so many pockets that you can't keep track of what you put where and you don't have to go peeking into a million different places just to find baby's pacifier. The interior space consists mainly of one spacious compartment, and I like that. (I do have a few organizational pouches I like to use (purchased separately from the bag), which work well with the basic tote.)

The diaper tote is manufactured to meet Pottery Barn Kids' typical high standards, and I have no doubts that it will hold up to years of use. It's yarn-dyed, so the color won't fade, and it's polyester-lined, so it will clean up nicely time and again. I envision it multitasking as a pool bag this summer and using it to haul library books down the road. Frankly, I'd consider purchasing this bag even if I didn't have a baby, just because of its classic, summery style and practical, fuss-free design.
