Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30 30

I love Peg Perego, so I was pleased to try out the Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 infant seat. The first things I noticed about this car seat were the padding all along the inside, and the safe, sturdy look. I always feel confident securing my child in this seat and hitting the road. It has adjustable side impact protection—I love the added safety precaution—and complies with federal NHTSA standards. In fact, according to the company, it exceeds the most stringent Side Impact Protection testing in the world.

One of my favorite things about the Peg is its new feature that allows you to adjust the shoulder straps without rethreading as your child grows taller—you just push a button and slide them to the height you need. Genius! It also has a quick-release 5-point safety harness and a fail-safe buckle.

The base is quite heavy, but that only adds to its safe feel; the seat itself is nice and light. I plan to use the Peg for many years as our family grows, and I know I’ll get good use out of it not only because of its safety features, but also because of its timeless style. The adjustable handle and nicely-sized sunshade are other features that make the Peg a great seat. It isn’t cheap, but if you can afford to make the investment, the Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 is a seat you’ll be happy to have.
