If you’ve ever tried carrying your baby in a sling […]

If you’ve ever tried carrying your baby in a sling or other carrier and felt the shoulder, back and neck pain that result from the extra weight and strain, this carrier is for you! They finally got it right. With the Moby GO, the weight is distributed away from your shoulders and is supported by your waist and hips.
Moby-GOMy husband and I have three children. We tried a sling when the babies were little, but it was difficult, and quite frankly, uncomfortable to carry all of the baby’s weight on one shoulder. So then we decided to try a popular front pack because the weight would be evenly supported by both shoulders. Although, the carrier was more comfortable than the sling, it still made my back and shoulders ache after a while. Our third child has been the clingiest of all our children, and I carry her around a lot. When I was offered the chance to give the Moby GO a test drive, I knew I had to try it.
The GO is very easy to put on. There are three clips. Simply clip the waistband around your waist and adjust the strap until it is snug but comfortable. The shoulder straps crisscross in the back. I clip one strap and then put my daughter in the carrier before securing the other shoulder strap. Once she’s in, I tighten the shoulder straps and we’re ready to go. It’s really that easy! All of her weight is comfortably held by the padded waist band and the shoulder straps support her back and head. There is very little strain on my shoulders at all. I carry her around for multiple hours pain-free. The Moby GO is machine washable and comes out looking brand-new. It is very light weight and folds up easily to store anywhere.
With most products, there are a couple things we wish were different. With the Moby GO, there is only one thing I would change. Yes, only one! I wish the child could face outward. My daughter is very nosy and she would love to be able to see what is going on around her as I wear her. I know her head, neck and back are better supported when facing me, but she would be better entertained if she could face out. She doesn’t seem to be bothered by what she’s missing though. In fact, she’s typically is lulled to sleep fairly quickly when I carry her in the Moby GO.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone interested in carrying their child either around the house or out and about. This carrier is extremely comfortable for parent and child. In my book it is worth every penny.
