    Kokopax Samantha Tote

I really didn’t want a diaper bag that screamed “Baby!” so I was pleased to come across this tote from Kokopax.

It’s a very simple, chic bag. There’s not much to it—just a sturdy canvas tote with some handy interior pockets—but it’s turned out to be perfect for what I need in a diaper bag.

I got the basic black, and I love the chocolate leather accents. The brown and black compliment each other nicely and make it just a little bit snazzier than a basic all-over black would be. (If you’re more into a fun print bag, they have those too.) The lining is made from water-resistant nylon and is light colored, so it’s easy to find things inside. Metal feet keep the bag from resting flat on the ground and getting dirty, but if you do happen to smudge it up a bit, the whole thing can be spot cleaned. The straps were a nice length for me, and I also appreciated the magnetic closure. It’s easy to open the bag and find what I need one-handed, leaving my other arm free to hold my little one on my hip. A changing pad was also included.

This bag has worked very well for me and I look forward to using it for many years to come. I’m also looking forward to checking out one of their back carriers when my son gets a little bit bigger. I think Kokopax is a company I’m going to be a big fan of!
