This sling is absolutely one of the classiest baby carriers I’ve come across. The design is truly timeless (it kind of looks like it could be a family heirloom!) and the macrame fringe is a lovely accent.
I didn't use a sling with my daughter – I used the totable infant car seat a lot, and I had a BabyBjorn I used for trips – but I'm looking forward to becoming a sling person with my new little guy. I love the idea of being able to keep my newborn close as I go about my day: I think it will be good for both of us! For my own peace of mind, I'll probably keep an arm around my baby even while he’s in the sling – just for backup security, not because I need to hold up his weight – but it will make getting around infinitely easier.
I could wear the Hold Me sling with just about anything I own and it wouldn’t detract from the outfit or draw undue attention. The ring sling is easy to use and adjust as baby grows; in fact, the Hold Me website is very helpful in showing different holding positions for different ages. The lightweight sling also folds up very compactly for storage in a diaper bag or purse.
