I’ve been using my Serenade infant seat for a couple of weeks now, and I am a big fan.
Evenflo’s SureLATCH technology gives me peace of mind (it’s a system that uses two connectors to your vehicle’s LATCH system to ensure proper installation with a lot less hassle) and my baby boy seems very comfortable in the cushy padded seat. The harness is easy to adjust and the handle is more comfortable than the one on the seat I used with my 2-year old. (According to the company, it’s ergonomically designed for a more comfortable carry—whatever it is, I think it works!)
I love the weight limit on the Serenade—I’ll be able to use it until my little guy is 35 pounds! Machine washable fabric is another plus, since my baby tends to spit up a lot. Another plus is the canopy, which offers amazing coverage (great not just for sunny days, but for preventing touching of the sleeping baby in public places!). My absolute favorite thing, though, is how easy this car seat is to install. I never felt like I fully mastered a secure installation with my first baby—the job always fell to my hubby—but with this seat, I don’t have that same fear.
I couldn’t be happier with the Evenflo Serenade. It’s the complete package: Great safety ratings, amazing ease of use, comfortable for the rider, attractive… what’s not to like? It’s a great product!
