    Milkies Milk Saver

I frequently refer to breast milk as liquid gold.

If you’re anything like me and hate pumping and struggle with supply issues then I know you can relate. When I returned to work after having my son two years ago, my supply quickly dropped due to my infrequent pumping and I was forced to supplement, which was a huge struggle.

With baby number two on my hip, I was excited to nurse again but have been working very hard to increase my freezer supply so that when I return to work I’ll have a back-up plan. My only real problem is that I absolutely detest pumping and I have a 2-year-old who thinks the buttons on my pump are cool. Needless to say, I haven’t been pumping as frequently as I should, which is why I was ecstatic to try Milkies Milk-Saver.

I must say I am absolutely in love! I’ve been able to put approximately two additional ounces of breast milk in the freezer daily which is huge considering I generally pump a little under three ounces at each sitting. Milk-Savers are super easy to use. Simply slide the Milk-Saver into your bra on the non-nursing side and nurse as usual. I cannot imagine an easier way to collect leaking breast milk. I am very en-couraged that I will not have to supplement at all thanks to the Milk-Saver.

An added bonus of the Milk-Saver is that I’ve been able to reduce my use of those expensive disposable nursing pads, which is great for my wallet and the environment.
