My BOB Revolution SE stroller is the perfect solution to my morning jogs—well, jog-walks—around our Savannah neighborhood with my pretty princess. Sturdy and compact, it folds flat enough in two simple steps to supersede the pavement and go with me anywhere. Assembling it took a little work (I actually had to read the instructions—gasp!), but the effort was totally worth it.
Weighing in at 25 pounds, the Revolution SE is solid without being cumbersome. Sleek is the word that comes to mind. The seat material is soft but durable, and the straps of the 5-point harness adjust better and more easily than any other stroller I’ve used. The recline options are substantial and adjust with the simple pull of a strap. The canopy expands enough to prevent the sun from glaring in my daughter’s eyes, and the viewing window allows me to sneak a peek at her whenever I need to. The seat accommodates kids up to seventy pounds and 44 inches tall, so keep the height limits in mind if you have a tall preschooler.
The suspension can be set to two separate settings that I adjust according to my child’s weight—a great feature for a mom with four children ranging from twenty pounds to sixty pounds. The stroller handles extremely well, boasting a great turn radius and an option for a swiveling wheel or locked wheel with just the click of a small lever. Best of all the foot brake stretches across the entire lower portion of the stroller’s frame, so I’m never caught searching for a tiny brake pedal that tears up the top of my foot if I’m wearing flip-flops.
Just in case you’re worried about where to stash snacks, sippy cups, and other supplies, there is an amply sized cargo space beneath the stroller, a mesh pocket on the back of the seat, and two great pockets on each side of the interior of the seat. My one criticism is that a snack tray does not come standard. For many moms paying $400 for a stroller is difficult, but having to turn around and purchase a snack tray is downright frustrating. BOB does offer several great accessories, though, including a handlebar console, weather shield, and car seat adapter.
I highly recommend this stroller for moms who feel the call of the road and love the sound of their Nikes hitting the pavement in that familiar rhythm. The BOB Revolution SE stroller will allow you to share your love of exercise with your baby without sacrificing her comfort or your peace of mind. Be sure to wait till your little one is at least 8 weeks old before taking her out for a walk without the car seat adapter and hold off until she is 8 months before working your way up to a jog. Doing so ensures your baby has the head and neck support to ride safely and comfortably. Happy trails!
