    Beco Baby Butterfly 2

With the Beco Baby Butterfly 2 Carrier, I think my little guy may just become my new favorite accessory. And with eight different patterns to choose from, you could find a new favorite too!

The Butterfly 2 was created to be a carrier for an infant as well as a toddler. So Beco Baby decided to include an infant insert with the carrier that allows the Butterfly 2 to accommodate your babe from 7 to 45 pounds. So, I may be set in the accessory department for a couple of years as he grows into a toddler.

But not only is the Butterfly 2 great for an infant or tot, its great for Mom or Dad as well. The waist and shoulder straps adjust with ease to fit petite, tall, or bulkier frames so switching my little one from me to Dad is a piece of cake. Not that those switches happen often. With a heavily padded waistband and fully padded straps, I can wear this carrier comfortably for trips to the grocery or all day treks to the zoo. All of the weight is distributed around the waistband, keeping back aches at bay. And with a piece of fabric crossing my chest to supporting the shoulder straps, I feel totally secure carrying my little one whether I’m going for a walk or picking up around the house.

My tot seems pretty darn comfortable too. At 15 pounds, I still wear him on my front and he loves facing Mom. And it allows me to keep a good eye on how he’s feeling. So when he starts getting sleepy, I can easily attach the headrest (hood) and give him a little extra privacy and comfort for his snooze.

The perks don’t stop there though. The Butterfly 2 rolls up and fits easily into my diaper bag so I can have it on hand if ever a baby-wearing situation arises. And when it gets dirty, I can toss it in the washing machine and have a squeaky clean carrier again in no time at all. And if I ever have a question about how I should be wearing the carrier or how I can make it safer for my little guy, I can pop in the Instructional DVD included with the carrier and find the answer.
