    Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Lite

When I pulled my new BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light out of its box, I was extremely impressed.

First of all, it was really lightweight (only 11 pounds!), not semi-lightweight-but-sort-of-heavy like I’ve found with some other “lightweight” travel cribs. And it was so easy to put together that I seriously had it operational within about one minute, no problem at all. My 2-year old neighbor was pretend-napping in the crib before I even had the box cleared away.

I love that it is just as easy to fold as it is to set up, and the travel bag (which it fits easily and neatly into) makes transporting it a breeze. The size is perfect for little ones and it passed the comfort test with flying colors. And for mom’s peace of mind, the mattress cover and fabric parts that come in contact with your baby have been approved in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1—or, in normal people talk, they are completely safe and harmless to your child. They are also machine washable, an important factor in sleep spots for tots.

The Travel Crib Light can be used from birth until your child is about 3 years old, and I can assure you that if you travel a lot, you’ll get your money’s worth. The BabyBjorn blows away all the other travel cribs I’ve tried out, hands down, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend looking for a travel bed that’s made to last.

    Price: $280
