Do you ever have those days when you just don’t feel like talking? Maybe you’re exhausted from being up with the baby all night. Or, maybe you’ve taken a vow of silence. Or, maybe your mouth is full of milk duds and the caramel has fused your teeth shut.

Though none of those reasons explains why I’m having “one of those days,” I just don’t feel much like talking. I have a lot of things rolling around in my head, and for now, they all seem better left tucked away in my brain.

I came to this conclusion after writing three separate blogs posts … and backspacing them all into blank page oblivion.
Fortunately, despite my inability to string together words today (seriously, I debated between “string words together” and “string together words” for the last three hours. Okay, it was five minutes, but it FELT like three hours) my right index finger is still functioning.

So, I set it a-snapping. I captured Jacob doing what he does best: being adorable. Need photographic evidence? Just take a look at this so-sweet-you-want-to-smother-it-in-kisses-and-take-a-bazillion-more-photos-face.

    And this one…

    And this one…

And … you get the idea …

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, by my estimation, by browsing the five photos above, you’ve read the equivalent of 5,000 words in a fraction of the time.

    You’re welcome.
