Childrens clothing—it sure is adorable, but it also come with an awfully high turnover rate. Those kids, always growing!
Enter the Baby Clothing Network. Asite designed with money-saving (and space-saving) moms in mind, Baby Clothing Network is a community where you can trade your tot's gently-worn, too-small outfits for a box of togs more her size.
How it works:
Register with Baby Clothing Network, and then list a bundle of your clothes on the site and they’ll match what you have to offer with a mom who wants clothing of that size and gender. When someone requests your bundle, Baby Clothing Network emails you a pre-paid shipping label ready to go in the mail. You then print and attach the label to a large Flat Rate USPS box (these boxes are 100% free), paying nothing to ship your bundle. Once your bundle is traded you will immediately receive BCN Tags equal to the value of your clothing. Then use your BCN Tags to shop for bundles of clothes that will fit your own child.
Though there is a cost involved with registration, the $18 monthly fee is easily put into perspective considering that the average mom spends $59 on clothing each month, totaling just over $700 a year per child. The value-swapping that comes with membership to the Baby Clothing Network ensures you get a return from your initial investment in your child's wardrobe.
