Like all of you, we have been deeply affected by the stories pouring out of Japan in the wake of the tragic earthquake and tsunami that occurred on March 11.
Because of this, we've been grateful to see all the ways that various businesses have been chipping in to help. Here are some companies who are donating a percentage of their proceeds and providing links to organizations sending aid and funds to relief efforts in Japan:
Oeuf has put together a donation of warm baby clothing made from alpaca fur to send over for the smallest suffering residents. They've teamed up with an organization called K.I.D.S.—Kids In Distressed Situations to help distribute the bundles. (Oeuf's home page also has a great list of organizations you can donate through, including Doctors Without Borders, Global Giving, and the Japan Society Earthquake Relief Fund, as well as including organizations who accept donations through text messages.
If you know of any other businesses donating proceeds to the relief efforts of the tragedy in Japan, let us know in the comments.
