    Nursing bra know-how

    Pink nursing bra

Most women find that their bra size increases one cup-size and one band size while breastfeeding. However, a professional fitting is recommended to get the best fit. (Trust us, a bra in the wrong size is never comfortable, nursing or not.)

Comfort is key when shopping for nursing bras. Whether you go for basic white cotton or sexy black lace, make sure the fit and style will be comfortable for all-day wear.

Shop for nursing bras when your regular bras no longer fit, usually in your sixth or seventh month of pregnancy. Your breasts will likely stay around the same size for the remainder of your pregnancy and throughout your breastfeeding days.

Easy access is the name of the game. You’ll want a bra that allows you to easily hook and unhook the cups with one hand, since the other will likely be holding your beautiful baby.

Have at least three nursing bras in rotation at all times: One on your body, one in the wash and one ready to go in case you spring an unexpected leak.
