When you're newly pregnant and wading into the waters of building a wardrobe for your bump-blessed body, it can feel overwhelming.

We've got your back, mama. Here are a few of the best pieces to have on hand during your nine months of dressing for two so you can stock your closet with confidence.

One of the first things a mom-to-be should snag is a belly band. This stretchy piece of fabric can extend the life of your prepregnancy pieces and also help you ease back into them once your baby arrives.
Baby Be Mine Maternity Belly Band $17

Afitted cami is a solid staple for the expectant mom's wardrobe. You can wear one under a cardigan or a button up shirt. Get several different colors for lots of layering options.
    Ingrid &Isabel Everyday Cami $32

A maxi dress is the pregnant woman's best friend. Loose and airy, it will keep you cool in hot months while flattering your figure without constricting your middle.
Nuka Maternity Silk Maxi Dress $195

Jeans are a solid pick for any woman's style selection, and pregnancy is no exception. Get a high-quality pair that accentuates your positives and they'll take you far.
7 For All Mankind Bootcut Maternity Jeans $240

Pair a tunic with some leggings and you've got a great go-to for any season of the year.
    Isabella Oliver Printed Tunic $145

Let's face it:Some days you won't feel like dressing up. Snag yourself some super-comfy lounge pants to laze around the house (or, ok, to go for a walk).
    Gap Maternity gFlex pants $50

Cardigans don't care how far out you've popped. Put on your most stretched shirt and cover it with a cardi to class up your act.
    Old Navy Handkerchief Cardigan $20

A cute pair of flats are a great way to accessorize while keeping your tooties relaxed.
Betsey Johnson Sashaaa flats $70 at zappos.com

True, it's not something you wear, but if we're talking about maternity “must-haves” it can never be stated enough: Popping your prenatals to make sure your baby gets the right start never goes out of fashion. Grab the gummy versions to help quell that gag reflex swallowed pills might trigger and to add a little more flavor to your daily dose. And then get back to shopping!
Vitafusion PreNatal Gummy Vitamins $12 at drugstore.com
