    Bombay crib at rikshaw deisgn

So I'm moving out of the country in less than two weeks. Bon voyage, hasta la vista, adios.

If I wasn't so excited about the notion of decorating my children's rooms, I would probably be freaking out. So, you ask, what is the girl with the design blog going to create for her little ones?

I've seen so many inspirational rooms lately. What I've come up with in my head is a great mix of vintage and modern against a clean canvas. White walls, and lots of color from all my fabulous pieces I will somehow find.

Well, how do you go about finding these pieces? I started at Ikea, since that's the only store I know for sure is in Dubai. I'll post more on those finds later.

Obviously, I also wanted great bedding. Like, really great bedding. I've been searching for a long time and I think I've found it. And I think they will ship it to me (hopefully).

    udaipur

I think I will get the bombay crib bedding, and maybe the udaipur quilt for my toddler. I love how soft the fabrics are (100% cotton voile) and that they are each block printed by hand. Check out rikshaw design for more patterns.
