Don’t stress the mess! Keeping tidy with baby is easier than you might think.
There’s no need to bathe your little one every day, as tub sessions more than a few times a week can dry out sensitive skin. Concentrate on the face, neck and diaper area when washing. A little dirt won’t hurt—exposure to germs can actually help your baby develop immunities by challenging his immune system.
If you’re nursing, treat your nipples and the surrounding skin with care to ensure a hygienic feeding area and prevent cracks and sores.
Simply wash bottles with soap and rinse them with water. Use a bottlebrush to scrub hard to reach places and boil parts and pieces in water to sterilize.
Toys should be cleansed in soap and water; it’s not necessary to use a spray disinfectant.
Tip:Try natural cleaning products to avoid exposing baby to potentially harmful chemicals that could be absorbed by the skin.
