Green Tea Grapefruit Toner
1/4 cup green tea at room
temperature
1/4 cup witch hazel
1/4 cup grapefruit juice
To make: Combine all ingredients and pour into a spray or open-mouthed bottle; apply to face as needed.
Grapefruit juice is rich in vitamin C, which tones and brightens skin and encourages collagen production; witch hazel removes dirt and oil and is great in fighting acne; green tea is calming to the skin and helps reduce redness.
Avocado and Mayonnaise Hair Treatment
1 cup real mayonnaise
1/2 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon olive oil
To make: Mix together all ingredients to make a smooth paste then work it through wet hair. Run a hand towel under warm water, squeeze out excess moisture, then wrap the towel around your locks. Leave the treatment on for 20 minutes before washing it out with shampoo and following with conditioner.

Carrot Honey Nourishing Mask
2 tablespoons carrot juice
pulp of 1/2 an orange
1 teaspoon honey
To make: Mix together all ingredients. (If the mixture feels too watery, add a teaspoon of flour.) Brush the mask over your face, leave on for five minutes, then rinse with warm water.
This refreshing mask is loaded with vitamin A to reduce redness and plenty of vitamin C to aid collagen production.
Kiwi Facial Cleanser
1 kiwi
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tablespoon rose water
1 tablespoon almond or olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
To make: Liquify kiwi in a blender. As it’s blending, add remaining ingredients until the mixture has a creamy consistency. Apply to your face as you would any liquid cleanser and rub in small circles. Rinse with warm water.
Seeds from the kiwi remove dead skin while yogurt and almond oil leave skin soft and supple.
Clementine Hand Scrub
1 tablespoon clementine juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
To make: Mix together all ingredients, then gently wash your hands with the scrub.
Oranges are rich in vitamin C and alpha hydroxy acids, which help remove dead skin.
Honey and olive oil moisturize, and sugar acts as a gentle exfoliant.
