The owl trend has been around for a while, but as long as it's not executed in a too over-the-top manner, I'm still a fan. (My mom's maiden name is Wise, so we've been proponents of “Wise old owls” for a long, long time.) I like the cheery, gender-neutral color scheme of this nursery, and the crib it calls on is one of my favorites on the market. The coolest components though? The Skip Hop Complete Sheet. With the AAP officially declaring crib bumpers a bad idea, parents are really limited to a sheet in terms of bedding, which can seem a little boring. But safety doesn't sacrifice style with this smart sheet; it offers plenty of visual interest without putting baby at risk. Brilliant, right?
