    Father's Day gift roundup

Father’s Day is right around the corner and whether you are expecting or already have a little one at home, it is a great time to treat the new dad in your life to an amazing gift on your babe’s behalf.

Here are a few ideas from my own husband:

A few weeks ago I shared some of my favorite spring footwear options for baby and Keen’s awesome Newport H2’s were at the top of my list. Why not pick up a matching pair of Newport H2’s for dad? They are great for both casual wear and for some pretty serious adventure if your man is an outdoors man like mine. Not to mention daddy and baby will look so cute with their matching shoes.

I must also add that they are extremely comfortable. A few weeks ago I was suffering from sciatic nerve pain and decided to splurge on some new tennis shoes when my eyes landed on these sporty kicks in living coral, the switch to a supportive sandal has made a world of difference and I’ve gotten tons of compliments!

Lets face it, Dads don’t like carrying a girly diaper bag. My hubby has always preferred to tote a more masculine look. His latest favorite is the sporty, easy-to-tote Backpack by DadGear. This sleek bag is so convenient and smartly designed that we’ve started leaving my diaper bag at home when we go on outings that require a lot of walking and extra gear.

DadGear’s classic Backpack is very roomy, boasting 13 easy to access compartments including its unique diaper hammock. My favorite feature is the Quick Access Wipes Case that is so convenient with a messy toddler in tow.

My hubby’s favorite part of the DadGear Backpack is that it looks like a regular backpack rather than a diaper bag so he can carry all of our son’s essentials without the typical diaper bag look.

DadGear boasts a huge line of unique bags for dad and has a wide range of distinct designs to fit every man’s unique style. If you live in a cooler climate or are expecting a winter baby then you’ve got to check out DadGear’s unique line of vests and jackets—absolutely the coolest thing around in dad apparel.

Let me be the first to tell you that after your first little one is born, shopping for yourself or your hubby becomes a thing of the past. Babies require an entire new wardrobe about every three months and there’s always some new piece of baby gear to buy. Holidays are the perfect time to pick up some new duds for your significant other. I love the sporty clothing line Horny Toad. Their activewear is perfect for Father’s Day.

My husband has been trying out Horny Toad’s Chino Shorts in True Khaki and has told me multiple times how comfortable they are—and this from a man who doesn’t talk about fashion. They are made from a cool octene twill that washes beautifully. Pair them with Horny Toad’s On The Sly Shirt for a look that is perfect for summer. These classic duds are sure to keep your man looking cool and feeling comfortable.

Looking for a thoughtful gift on a bit of a tighter budget? Check out the Kahveh Sleeve by Innate Gear—the perfect gift to drop off at the engraver for a little personalization. This high-quality vacuum insulated cup is perfect for keeping your cold drinks colder longer and warm drinks hot.

A perfect gift for dad, the Kahveh Sleeve features a spill-proof sliding drink cover and doesn’t transmit heat to the outside, so if your man is a coffee drinker then you can feel safe knowing that your early walker or toddler won’t be part of an accidental spill or burn.
