One of the most frustrating and much anticipated parts of motherhood is feeding time.
Those first couple of feedings in the hospital and often the first several weeks of nursing at home are often filled with feelings of uncertainty and frustration, but when you and your little one finally get it, there is no better feeling in the world. Bottle feeding can include equal thoughts of uncertainty and is full of figuring out how to properly mix a bottle, what temperature to warm the milk to, and how to get that little person to burp.
For me starting solids was something I absolutely could not wait to do. Sitting your little tike up in their high chair and feeding them that first bite of rice cereal is one of the most fun and exciting parts of babyhood. Many modern mommies are opting to make their little loves homemade baby food.
