I have always been a big fan of babywearing.
Before I had children I remember seeing mamas with their babies snuggled in a sling or carrier and thinking that it just looked heavenly. So when Charlie came along I was ecstatic to begin exploring babywearing for myself. Charlie was also a big fan of babywearing. I can remember many times when the only way I could get him to sleep was to tuck him into a carrier and walk.
Charlie was born in August and in case you weren’t aware, Georgia in August is HOT! Great for going to the pool, not great for wrapping a newborn up in lots of fabric and strapping them to your warm chest. So I was elated to receive a sample of Baby K’tan’s coolest carrier the Baby K’tan Breeze.
The Breeze is a fabulous carrier made of cotton and breathable mesh. It is such a unique design—in summer, you can rotate the carrier loops so that the mesh is in front, in winter, you can rotate the carrier loops so that the cotton is in front. So smart! Mommy and baby stay cool and comfortable regardless of the temperature.
The Breeze, like all of Baby K’tan’s carriers can be worn in many different ways and includes detailed instructions (with pictures) of their many carrying positions. I tried several with Charlie and they were very easy to learn, even with a squirmy 19 month old. I can’t wait to try it with our new baby this summer. Snuggling with your baby in a carrier is truly one of the best parts of life.
The Breeze can be used with children up to 35 pounds and it includes a matching hat and sash. It can be purchased in either black or white. I was happy to try the white as I plan to be using it outdoors so much this summer.
